This exhibition is an opportunity for viewers to experience artists creative response during this unprecedented time.
Sculptors Coral Lambert and Cynthia Handel created the project to support a community of international sculptors during these difficult times. Each artist was invited to create an original drawing or mixed media work on 11x14" paper. Originals are assembled into a portfolio box and will be on display at fooLPRoof Gallery in Denver, CO. Their hope is that this portfolio reconnects, celebrates and introduces peers in the filed across continents. The women in the portfolio approach sculpture in diverse materials and practices from public and process-based art to installation and performance.
Limited Edition Prints from high-quality scans of the originals are available for purchase, with an edition set at 7. The purchase of these works will directly support the sculptors during the Covid 19 pandemic.
